About Jak and Daxter – The Lost Frontier

After the conclusion of Jak X: Combat Racing, Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier continues the story from where it left off. To explore the recent lack of Eco, Jak, Daxter, and Kiera journey to the Brink, which is located at the edge of the known world; there, they become embroiled in a conflict that is taking place between the people who live in the region and a band of Sky Pirates. A return to the series’ 3D platforming roots can be seen in the gameplay, which has a balance of jumping, traversal obstacles, and weapon-based and melee fighting. There are also several aerial combat portions, including objective-based and free-form dogfighting and brawler-style stages in which the player controls a monstrous version of “Dark Daxter” that resembles the Hulk. As is the norm for this series, the player can unlock and personalize Jak’s Eco powers and vehicles as they progress through the game.
