Medal of Honor – Heroes 2

In the sequel to the PSP-exclusive Medal of Honor: Heroes, players take on the role of OSS Operative John Berg in eight missions during the June 1944 Normandy campaign. With the assistance of US troops, he must go behind enemy lines and prevent Hitler from deploying the V2 rocket. Briefings with still voices and narrated voice-overs tell the story. In addition to the series’ essential first-person shooting action, the Wii version includes a new, more accessible mode with on-rail shooting – the computer handles mobility. At the same time, players only need to aim and shoot. Players move around with the analog stick, gaze around with the Wii remote, lean with the Nunchuk, and fire with the B-button in standard mode, a break from the control system introduced in Medal of Honor: Vanguard. The Z-button also serves as a lock-on system in the game. Players can also aim and shoot using the Wii Zapper. The regular battle remains, but considerably more events have been added, as well as a few mini-games. For example, to tune a radio for mid-game incoming information, players must twist the Wii remote, and the sound is played through the remote’s speaker. Other peculiarities necessitate the player raising the Nunchuk to fire the shotgun. Planting charges (using the Wii remote as a timer), picking up documents, and managing several stationary guns are all required. This version also includes bazookas and mortars, as well as the return of the sniper rifle. With game modes like Death Match, Team Death Match, and Infiltration, up to 32 players can join a single match simultaneously. Single-player levels are adapted into multiplayer maps.
