The game is a fighting game for single players with content based on an anime story of the same name. It has a plot revolving around the character Tokiha Mai, a high school girl. When she and her brother were on the train moving to Fuuka Academy, they suddenly rescued a little girl floating on the river with a sword called Mikoto. Mikoto and Natsuki attack each other with strange powers causing the ship to sink, Mai unconscious. Every girl here has a special power and is called HiME. Each Hime will have a child summoned beast protecting and accompanying in the fight against the Orphan monster. Mai discovers she has the seal of a HiME and there she finds her Child summoned beast. Every day, Mai embarked on battles with Orphan and did not neglect taking care of her brother.
