BlazBlue – Continuum Shift II

The game takes place after the events of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. Several days have passed since the raid reported by Ragna the Bloodedge. The 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi forgot to hold a New Year’s Eve ceremony due to his allegations related to the mysterious bombing and the sight of a giant star became a hotly debated topic for people in town. with the NOL has not given the plausible explanation, people in the city have made their own assumptions, exaggerated and spread those rumors like wildfire. Completely unconcerned about what happened, Ragna gripped the sword silently, waiting for the chance to achieve her true goal, and at last the great power that appeared to make Ragna begin to act. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II retains the traditional 2D fighting gameplay from previous versions of two fighting characters on a two-way plane. Players will have the right to decide the length of the match, which can range from one to five rounds. To win a round, players need to make the opponent’s vitality bar to zero by causing the target hit. Besides, if the time is up and the two sides still survive, then whoever has more blood will win. Besides, the blood on the screen will also display an energy bar. If filled, they can be used to use special moves of characters such as Distorion Drives, Rapid Cancels, Counter Assault. This bar will increase if you attack the enemy or get hit by an enemy or block the attack. However, some points have been changed in this game compared to the previous version, such as the Guard Libra system has been replaced by the new Guard Primer scoring system. Each character will have a unique number of points. These points are exhausted every time you use Guard Break. After using up, all of the player’s character points will be immobilized for a certain short period of time called Guard Crush. If you do not want to be in this situation, you must use the Barrier Blocking feature in a timely manner. It will cost the player half of the Barrier gauge. The Barrier Burst in the previous version has been replaced with Break Burst which is quite similar but has different usage. Break Burst can only be used twice in a match and the second use is only available if you have lost around.
