In 2032 Earth Suddenly attacked by a group of aliens, turning this place into a war zone of tension. By 2015, nineteen years after that event, the only twelve surviving woke up Black Rock Shooter – a mysterious young girl with dark hair and burning blue eyes who had slept ever since. She has found some hope for the future. Black Rock Shooter along with his teammates entered the future battlefield, where alien forces have invaded 19 years. She has to fight the alien while trying to regain her memories. Black Rock Shooter: The Game is like a love song for fans of the anime and manga of the same name. Keeping the same plot as the anime, the player plays the black-haired girl with burning blue eyes performing all tasks with the purpose of retrieving his lost memories. When starting to play, the player controls the Black Rock Shooter (BRS for short) to explore the available areas and search for certain items. The battle begins only when he accidentally encounters random enemies wandering in that area. The game is divided into several quests, and it is imperative to complete all of them to level up. During the battle, BRS can aim and fire with its rock cannons at the enemy, blocking attacks and sidestep to avoid them completely. Moreover, having enough BRS energy can release super-charge attacks that kill and destroy a large number. Players can also earn and change BRS equipment, each with different levels and damage (They include attacks such as a powerful blast, sniper or support abilities that can increase the BRS as attack or defence). Therefore should carefully choose the appropriate equipment for each battle to bring the best effect. In some battlefields with flat terrain, BRS can either drive a motorcycle while attacking enemies on either side or use weapons to shoot enemies.
