Silent Line is the seventh game in the Armored Core series. Players will take on the role of Raven, a mercenary who controls a giant aircraft called Armored Core. The Silent Line focuses on human migration to the surface of a planet and the mystery of an unreachable planet. AC weapons can now be destroyed, and if they are damaged too heavily, they will be unusable for the rest of the encounter. There is an interesting point that it will be restored soon. Another new feature is the “Clone” weapon, a copy of the existing weapon with colors and stats that have changed, such as weight reduction or increased ammunition. The game also features AI AC that allows players to build their own AC units powered by AI. One of the previous games, Armored Core: Master of Arena, had a similar setup. But in Master of Arena, players can directly customize AI behavior. While in Silent mode, the AI simulates the fighting style and preferences of the player by accumulating combat data from the previously defeated Raven in the Arena. Finally, Al will imitate the movements and tactics of the user. When enough battle data, Al will increase the rank similar to the Arena. With each rank, AI becomes smarter and better simulate player actions. Defeating high-level Arena opponents will increase your AI level faster. The player-created AI AC concept will later be used in Armored Core: Formula Front and Armored Core: Verdict Day.
