Bamboo Blade – Sorekara no Chousen is a card-based fighting action game developed from the famous Japanese Bamboo comic series. The story revolves around Toraji Ishida, a slightly unlucky Kendo instructor. One day he is accidentally challenged by his former senior, who is also a Kendo instructor. It was through the bet that inspired Toraji Ishida to gather and practice a group of girls, and from there he met Tamaki Kawazoe, a gifted young female kendo practitioner. With the card game system, players will initially have six squares to choose from which cards to place. In this way, players will practice improving the level and experience for the students they have chosen before. When students reach a certain level, they can either fight against each other or take part in tournaments. Each match will have two teams, each team up to two people and battle in the form of 1 vs 1. While fighting, the screen will show the stats, as well as the level of both the main character and the opponent, control the movements with four battle cards at the bottom of the screen, and the top is two analogue bars that show the vigour and strength available.
