Taking a timeline before the event in the first part of the series (Divine Divinity), Divinity: Original Sin takes the player as two Source Hunters on a journey to solve a mysterious murder in the town of Cyseal, in the rich Rivelion land. The turn-based combat system is the best feature of Divinity: Original Sin. Players will have to take advantage of the surroundings and the elements of the five elements or use tactics to win. Through each different match, the player must apply tactics flexibly; there is no place for nonsense actions that cost Action Points. When confronting opponents who are one or two levels ahead of you, if you only take care of “preening blood,” it is like stabbing your head to death. Players need to disable their opponents in dozens of different ways, such as burn, freeze, stun, knockdown, bleed, blind, cripple … And support allies with protective armor against each element, or buff defense for the team. Think before each action, “save” and use Action Points appropriately, because only one wrong move will lead to losing the battle.
