About Dragoneer’s Aria

The role-playing video game Dragoneer’s Aria tells the story of its protagonist, Valen, who lives in Granada and is on the verge of becoming a “Dragoon” when an evil black dragon suddenly arrives during his graduation ceremony. The dragon is responsible for a lot of death and destruction, but it is eventually driven away by another dragon that emerges from nowhere: a water dragon. After the dust settles, Valen meets a young lady named Euphe, and the two start on a journey together to discover the source of the threatening black dragon. The gameplay consists of real-time and turn-based fights, and a crafting system lets players design their armor and weapons. The narrative is presented in cutscenes, portrayed graphically within the game, and supplemented by voice acting in English and Japanese. Before beginning a new game in the Western version, the player can select either Spanish or English for the agents, although the on-screen text remains in English throughout. The PSP’s Wireless mode allows for the cooperative play of up to four players simultaneously. Each player controls a different party member, who can explore and treasure dungeons together.
