Dungeons & Dragons Tactics

The fantasy role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons Tactics is based on the 3.5 Edition basic rule set. It is set in the eastern border areas of the Lindesi, a collection of kingdoms ruled by a human High King located far to the West. To begin a new campaign, players must first choose or create a character to serve as the game’s protagonist, after which they choose or create a group of allies to act as the party. You are only allowed to have a maximum of five companions in your party when the campaign begins, but this number can increase to a maximum of eleven as it progresses. You can use pre-generated characters, create your group of characters to employ in the party, or even use the quick-start option, which will automatically give you access to a set of pre-generated characters. If the primary hero you have created or chosen for the campaign passes away, the campaign will end. You can access all eleven basic character classes, including the psychic warrior and psion, barbarian, bard, cleric, druid, fighter, monk, paladin, ranger, rogue, sorcerer, and wizard. You can find additional party members to join during the adventure in the marketplace. For instance, you can recruit clerics and paladins at the Temple, and fighters, barbarians, and psychic warriors can be found at the Mercenary Hall. However, combat is handled in a turn-based tactics fashion, on a grid with five-foot squares, where initiative determines the order when each character moves, and each character, during their turn, may perform actions according to the 3.5 Edition combat rules. The adventure is played by moving the party icon along the map, where you choose which locations to enter and with whom you may interact. However, when it is a character’s turn, they can choose from several alternatives in the Action menu. Psionics and spells are available for the good characters in the game. There is a dictionary of D&D rules terms included in the handbook for people unfamiliar with the 3.5 Edition rule set, and there is also a lexicon that can be accessed from the game’s main menu. In wireless multiplayer mode, you can only utilize pre-generated characters, but you can host or join a game with up to four other players and play game styles like Dungeon Bash or Deathmatch Battle.
