Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Advanced Warfighter 2

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 is the second game in a popular sub-series of tactical action games about a group of elite soldiers called Ghosts. The story picks up right after the first GRAW ends. You make up a fight on the border between the United States and Mexico. Rebels and loyalists are fighting in a civil war in that country, which threatens the safety of its northern neighbor. Captain Scott Mitchell and his crew land near the Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez. They later defended the US on the left side of the Rio Grande in El Paso, Texas. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 shows what soldiers might do shortly. Ghosts have high-tech weapons and old-fashioned gear (unique field uniforms ACU, recon plane UAV, or a supply vehicle Mule). Some missions also get extra help from flying reconnaissance drones, heavily armored M1A2 Abrams tanks, and AH-64D Apache helicopters with rocket launchers. Compared to the first GRAW, the User Interface is another thing that stands out. This lets you, for example, switch between different cameras quickly, which can help you plan your moves more accurately. The authors also made both the enemies and the player’s soldiers’ artificial intelligence better. In the game’s new multiplayer mode, called “Recon vs. Assault,” Ghosts and Mexican military forces fight against each other. The first group can use all the gear available in the single-player campaign, so they have a clear technical edge (including sniper rifles able to penetrate thin walls and detect and display enemy positions on HUD). On the other hand, the Mexicans get a lot of heavy firepowers, such as rapid-fire rifles, rocket launchers, and other weapons. They also come back to life after death, while American commandos have to wait until the end of the round.
