Every Extend Extra

Every Extend Extra is a reimagining of the widely played and downloaded freeware game Every Extend, and it stays true to the original game in all of the most important facets of its gameplay. The music adaption in E3 is the primary point of differentiation between it and the original game, just as in the previous synesthesia games that Tetsuya Mizuguchi created (Lumines and Rez). The primary arcade mode of E3 allows the player to progress through various stages, each of which has a unique background, enemy design, musical score, boss character, and different difficulty levels. You, too, cannot fire any weapons, just like in the original game. The only way to defend yourself is to blow up your “ship” while the adversary is nearby; this is your only option. The patterns in which enemies arrive are entirely random, and the game’s primary objective is to detonate at precisely the right moment and location to start a chain reaction of explosives and gain a combo bonus. When players blow themselves up, their entire stock of lives is reduced, and a new life is only granted after reaching a predetermined number of points. The original game is included in both the PC version and the PSP version of the game.
