MVP Baseball
One of the launch titles for the PSP in North America was a baseball game called MVP Baseball. Most of the gameplay was taken from a console version of MVP Baseball 2004 and then updated for the 2005 season with new players, teams, and artificial intelligence. Minigames such as “Homerun Shootout” and “Pitcher Showdown” are included in MVP Baseball for the PSP and the full-season mode. There is also a mode exclusive to the PSP called “Party Play” that lets up to four people play the minigames on a single PSP using a turn-based tournament format, and this option is only accessible through the PSP.
