As a puzzle game, “Atari Classics Evolve” has no story. Atari Classics Evolve will include timeless games like Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Centipede, Lunar Lander, Millipede, Missile Command, Super Breakout, Tempest, Warlords, and Pong. By defeating four challenges in each of the 11 major games, players will unlock a virtual Atari 2600 with more than 50 Atari classics. Not only do players have the opportunity to relive classic versions of each game, but they also have the opportunity to enjoy and experience the full updated version with enhanced graphics and sound. For example, the evolved version of Pong comes with an air hockey version, a ping-pong version, and several other versions. Games have a 2-player control scheme in which player 1 uses the pad to move and trigger L to shoot, and player 2 uses buttons to move and trigger R to shoot. The game can be unlocked, adding challenges by achieving pre-defined goals in specific games. To unlock 2600 games, players must win all the prizes in all arcade games. The beauty of this game is that when all forty-four challenges are completed, you unlock the Atari 2600 panel. This allows you to experience a large list of classic games.
