A collection that includes the arcade versions of the first four Gradius games and the game Gradius Gaiden, formerly exclusive to the PlayStation 1 console. All of these are direct conversions, with only a few alterations here and there. Although some game iterations featured co-op play for two players, none of the games included in this collection support multiplayer modes. The rapid fire function, which allows the player to shoot their regular weapon and missiles simultaneously, is activated by pressing the triangle button. Videos from the Gradius Deluxe Pack, as well as Gradius III and IV, as well as Gradius Gaiden, are included in the bonuses. In addition, there is a music gallery where one can listen to the scores of all five featured games. The video games have also been modified to support several viewpoints, such as zoomed-in and complete, and the entire options have been included in the arcade ports. In addition to this, a fundamental save and autosave system has been added.
