Patapon 3

Patapon 3 is the sequel to the previous films in the series, Patapon and Patapon 2. The gameplay is identical to that of the game’s predecessor, in which the player’s objective is to lead the Patapon army to victory in battle by pounding the Pon, Pata, Chaka, and Don sacred drums in rhythm with the music to issue orders to the Patapons. This time, however, the player does not control the all-powerful Patapon god; instead, they assume the role of an Uberhero and can team up with other Uberheroes in the game’s multiplayer mode. Taterazay, the hero of the shield; Yumiyacha, the hero of the bow; and Yarida, the hero of the spear, are the Patapon heroes available for the player to resurrect at the beginning of the game. The restored hero will serve as the Mighty One’s avatar and take command of the army. The army comprises the Superhero Patapon and three more troops called Ton, Chin, and Kan, who are the disciples of the three Patapon heroes. Squad units are not used in this episode like in previous ones. Each team has talents and equipment that may be customized, and they level up as they complete objectives and earn experience points. In addition, the superhero wears a mask, and to acquire new covers that provide him with new powers, he must first trade in the one he currently possesses. Every single level can now be tackled cooperatively by a maximum of eight players. The new Pata-Text function serves as the medium for player-to-player interaction and communication.
