The next installment in the long-running series of side-scrolling shooters known as Metal Slug is called Metal Slug XX. Metal Slug 7 has been updated to include these changes. Once again, the members of the Peregrine Falcons—Marco, Eri, Clark, Tarma, Fio, and Ralf—are dashing and gunning through vibrantly hand-drawn levels, hurling explosives, piloting vehicles, and cutting adversaries. Metal Slug XX has a variety of single-player elements, such as a Combat School that allows players to return to previously completed missions while executing various goals, a POW List that displays how many POWs were saved in each level, and single-player Rankings. These features may be accessed through the main menu. In addition, players can work together in Ad-Hoc to take out hordes of funny enemies utilizing weaponry they are already familiar with through seven unique levels. These levels will have our heroes traversing deserts, mountains, tunnels, and lava pits as they attempt to stop their persistent foe finally. This updated edition adds various new features and material, such as cooperative multiplayer gameplay, downloadable content, and the playable character Leona Heidern.
