Iron Man

This videogame of the one-man-army hero has been adapted heavily from the film Iron Man, which was released in 2008, and has been made available for seven various types of gaming consoles. Playing the Iron Man video game, you will experience life as Tony Stark. He is a weapon industrialist worth billions of dollars and a brilliant inventor who, after being kidnapped by terrorists who want to force him to build weapons for them, decides to make armor to get away from them instead. Since then, he has decided to stop manufacturing weapons and instead continues to work on the suit that will allow him to fight back against them. The narrative is expanded upon in the video games, which allow the player to participate in more than a dozen distinct missions and even engage in combat with antagonists that do not appear in the film, such as Whiplash and Titanium Man. All of this is demonstrated through cinematics between each task, and other actors from the film, such as Robert Downey Jr. and Terrence Howard, lend their voices to the narration. By foot or by air, with the first armor at the beginning and in the characteristic red and gold suit later, using ranged weapons or melee attacks, the game features Stark fighting with armies of soldiers, tanks, helicopters, canons, and other such vehicles with the assistance of an array of weapons that can be upgraded, such as missiles, micro grenades, repulsive shots, EMP blasts, a flame thrower, and the powerful “Unibeam.” Both the weaponry and the suit (including its propulsion and armor systems) can be upgraded, and most of the games include a wide variety of unique armor based on the comics that can be unlocked. This game version differs from the Xbox360 and PS3 versions in its aesthetics and upgrade system. Rather than spending money on upgrades, this version of the game determines the level of an item’s promotion depending on how often the player has used it.
